Finding an arrest warrant in St. Clair County is not an easy task because the county courts do not maintain online resources for searching records. While there are several state resources online for searching criminal case records, they are for registered members only and charge a fee. However, do not give up because there are ways to search for outstanding warrants in St. Clair County but you will need to make a trip to the court courthouse.

St. Clair County Courts

If you want to research case records, you will need to visit the St. Clair County Clerk of Court's office. Staff is not allowed to give legal advice; however, they may assist you by providing information about current or past criminal cases. Because the Circuit Court and District Court can both issue arrest warrants for the county, it is important to ask for warrant records from both courts. There are two locations for the clerk's office. The Ashville office is located at 100 6th Avenue, Suite 400, Ashville, AL 35953 (telephone: 205-594-2184) and the Pell City office is located at 1815 Cogswell Avenue, Suite 217, Pell City, AL 35125 (telephone: 205-338-2511).
